I am passionate about the benefits of establishing healthy eating patterns and food association for children. What an adult reaches for as their daily snack or drink will depend hugely on what their parents gave them as children. I feel strongly that we can influence the health of our children - both as babies and adults - through the choices we make for them as they are growing up.

As a mother of three young girls I know that the process of weaning a baby onto solids can be daunting. I have been running monthly weaning classes for Lulubaby (www.lulubaby.co.uk) and for private individuals for the past two years where I teach mothers about:

- Signs of readiness
- Ideal first foods
- Common allergens
- Optimum nutrition
- A weaning schedule
- Weaning equipment
